The short version

RETRACE is a local-first application. The records you capture — screenshots and the reasoning extracted from them — are stored on your own machine. We do not collect, transmit, or store your captured content on our servers.

Information we collect

Waitlist & contact. When you request access, we collect the email address you submit so we can contact you about early access. That's it.

Captured records. Anything you capture with RETRACE stays on your device. It does not leave your machine, and we never receive a copy.

Basic site analytics. We may collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data about this website (such as page views) to understand interest. Update this section to match whatever analytics tool you actually use.

How we use your information

• To contact you about early access and product updates you asked for.
• To understand interest in RETRACE in aggregate.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share email addresses only with the service providers that help us operate the waitlist (for example, our hosting and form provider), and only as needed to provide the service.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time by emailing hello@retrace.dev.
